Lumineers or Hollywood Veneers

If there are no teeth left, then it is called complete. A removable denture can transmit chewing pressure both on the gum and on the remaining teeth.

Clasp prostheses

It`s metal frame prostheses, which include fixing and unloading devices, arches and artificial teeth. Clasp prostheses are: with clasps (special hooks) and with locks.

With multiple or complete absence of teeth, several implants can be installed on each jaw upon which a fixed or conventionally removable bridge denture will be supported (a conditionally removable denture is called a denture that the patient cannot remove, but the doctor can remove to repair or clean it).

Composite is a material that is a special polymer, with additives such as special glass, porcelain flour, silica, quartz, etc., to impart certain properties. It easy to restore the damaged tooth with composite, literally "increase" it to a normal state.

Ceramics is light and aesthetic dentures (most often crowns on the front teeth) that completely imitate the shape, color and translucency of natural enamel. With its help, one can hide any defects and destruction of the tooth. Ceramics is the most harmless to the body and oral tissues modern material for dental prosthetics. Ceramics is excellent against microorganisms, dyes and aggressive substances.

Nickel-chrome and cobalt-cobalt alloys are the most common in dental prosthetics. They cope well with their duties on various prostheses, but can cause unpleasant reactions in people with allergies.

In comparison with them, noble metal alloys are harmless to the body. Alloys of gold with palladium and platinum are especially good, which are very durable and resistant to various influences. Long dentures can be made with them, which are very precisely molded and fit perfectly as well as help their ceramic lining to look more natural with its special color.

Titanium is absolutely biocompatible, very durable and lightweight at the same time. Its properties resemble the properties of gold-plated crowns, although titanium slightly loses in aesthetics. But there are no complaints on the side teeth to titanium alloys.

Zirconium oxide is a material with extremely high strength and safety for living tissues. It has long been used in medicine. Its silver white color is great for aesthetic prosthetic purposes.

Modern technologies using a laser make it possible to achieve the most accurate performance of a dental crown made from this material, and hence its better fit to the tooth.

Plastic prostheses have been used for a long time and their properties are well known. Dental plastic, unfortunately, loses to all modern materials for prosthetics and strength, and aesthetics and durability. It is able to absorb odors, dyes, which gradually change the color of plastic prostheses, even if one use the most common tea, coffee, berries, etc. The pores serve as a good environment for the reproduction of bacteria, which can only be controlled by careful hygiene. But removable dentures remain very popular, and therefore plastic has to be used very often. And yet to replace it appeared such a modern material for prosthetic teeth, like nylon. Nylon prostheses, unlike their imperfect predecessors, are simultaneously at the same time flexible and durable, which allows them to withstand mechanical loads and not to break. In terms of allergy, nylon prostheses are safer; they also do not collect microorganisms on themselves. The aesthetic appearance of nylon prostheses is based on their translucency and disguise as the color of the gums, and invisible to prying eyes by fixing supporting structures made of the same material as the prosthesis itself.
